Productions NY & the 2010 Winter Partnership will serve as a broadcast and production resource for both unaccredited and accredited media covering the XXI Olympic Winter Games.
Working in cooperation with the Vancouver Organizing Committee, the 2010 Winter Partnership and the municipality of Whistler; PNY can assist with the management of every key aspect of your live and taped production needs including access to:
- broadcast platforms with live fiber connectivity
- secure and reliable broadcast transmission
- editing and technical support
- stand-up locations with iconic views
- athletes & dignitaries for interviews
- an extensive library of still images and video footage
The Production Services Guide (available on request) provides information about the products and services available to visiting media. Television affiliates and broadcast outlets wishing to reserve a desk in shared workspace and book production services are urged to submit a request as soon as possible. Bookings will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
Media are reminded that street and short-term parking is not available in Whistler in February,2010. Bus transportation between the Media Center other points of interest will be widely available.
Broadcast media are advised that satellite and production trucks will not be permitted to park in or near the village of Whistler. Whistler bylaw enforcement officers will closely monitor this issue on a 24/7 basis. PNY and the Winter Games Broadcast Trust have designed packages to service your broadcast production and transmission requirements.

To ensure the PNY and the 2010 Winter Partnership meets your needs, we ask that orders for services be placed by October 15, 2009. New orders placed after October 15, 2009 may be subject to an additional fee.
